The Beginning
At the age of 11 I made my first print and decades later that's what I'm still doing (Although hopefully more sophisticated).
That first print was made with grass and paint, which was approved by my teacher, so either it was a fine achievement or a very kind tutor.
I was thrilled anyway and knew that I wanted to continue making prints.
Inspiration
I've always been fascinated and intrigued by nature. There is so much variety, incredible insects, ingenious plants and bizarre creatures.
I needed to create, and I needed to learn more. This led me to a degree in Fashion Design with London College or Fashion, (focusing on print of course).
Development
My prints have progressed from those early days, and now I form them with mixed media experimentations, techniques, and textures.
I hope to capture those special experiences of observing something unique and rare.
My mission
I like to use my designs on practical things to remind us that beauty should surround us and be part of our lives. I want my creations to be used and loved, and to inspire yearning.
